We all remember with fond memories of our first years at school. You may even vividly remember your first teacher – I know I do.
In the Perham school district of Minnesota, Lorly Schik began teaching in the 1940s (until she retired in 1989) as a well-loved Kindergarten teacher. She was known for her continuous support and guidance, which stayed with many of her students beyond their time at school. Her long teaching career meant that she taught countless children, yet she remembers the face of every student that has been in her classroom.
One day, the now 90-year-old Mrs Schik made an incredible discovery when she turned on her TV. Head to the next page to find out how 30 years later, Mrs Schik was transported back to her days at Perham.
